OpenCorporates integration now live
NexusCold today announced OpenCorporates integration. The global company registry (200M+ companies across 140 jurisdictions) is now an enrichment source for Pro tier customers. Returns company_number, directors, filings, and beneficial ownership chains.
OpenCorporates is the largest open database of companies in the world, with 200M+ companies across 140 jurisdictions. NexusCold's integration uses the official REST API v0.4, requiring an API token (paid tier $0.05 per call for high volume).
For each company in the upload CSV, the integration searches by company_name + country_code and returns: company_number (the official registry ID), company_type (private / public / non-profit), incorporation_date, registered_address, directors (name, role, start_date), filings (annual returns, financials), and beneficial ownership chain (where available).
The integration is paid (pass-through cost to customer), included in Pro tier and above. Agency tier = $0.03 per call (volume discount). Enterprise tier = self-hosted with direct OpenCorporates contract.
Use cases: VC/PE due diligence on portfolio companies, anti-money-laundering (AML) screening on counterparties, foreign-entity US-presence research (e.g., LATAM companies with US subsidiaries).
